Design Considerations

In the MIL-STD-1275E, there are three events that the protection circuit needs to handle: reverse polarity, voltage spike, and voltage surge event. To handle these events, a two-stage clamping circuit utilizes the LM7480-Q1 and LM5069 to provide protection to the three events.
