Wireless lighting control provider

Virtual Extension develops and markets high performance Wireless Mesh network products for use in advanced lighting control, smart metering, wireless sensor networks and similar industrial, security and automotive applications requiring robust and fully bi-directional networking capabilities. A unique technology, VEmesh™ has been designed to obtain the best coverage, with practically unlimited number of nodes and hops, and to have the farthest range and highest RF resiliency in its class.

In Lighting Control, the two families of products are Wireless extension to DALI and General Purpose, with the later transparent to most lighting control protocols and able to support up to 16,000 nodes on a single network and with IPv6 as an option. These Lighting Control Solutions product are mainly used for street and highway, outdoor, indoor and emergency types of smart lighting.

In Smart Metering, VEmesh networks power today the largest deployment of smart electricity meters in Israel. The water and gas networks consume extremely low power for years of operation on a single battery. The communication capabilities of VEmesh help reduce energy consumption, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve the reliability of the metering grid.

Virtual Extension offers both standard products and highly customized VEmesh networking solutions.
