MSP430-3P-VELTD-VEMESH-OTHR
Overview
Sensor network units: nodes (end units) and gateways, based on Virtual Extension Diversity Path Mesh™ technology and operating in the unlicensed frequency ranges.
Features
- Mesh topology
- unlimited number of hops (relaying steps)
- only one type of node - no network planning
- Multiple, simultaneous signal paths
- no single point of failure
- superior handling of obstructions and interferences
- robustness and increased range
- No-knowledge, no-training installation & maintenance.
- Instant Addition and Removal of Sensor Nodes – No Downtime of Network
- No need to develop network managing software, almost no integration effort
- The VEmesh network has been designed to work in mesh topology. Its two types of network elements are the Nodes and the Gateway.
- A VEmesh Node can be a stand alone module or an add-on board that plugs into or otherwise connects to the customer's own board, for add-on wireless mesh network functionality.
- A single VEmesh Gateway is sufficient to access the entire mesh network from the customer management center.
