Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create a smaller, smarter and more efficient streaming media set-top box (STB) and over-the-top (OTT) system design that receives and converts digital internet protocol television (IPTV) signals from wired or wireless internet sources for output to high definition (HD) and ultra-high definition (UHD) televisions (TVs).

Design requirements

Modern streaming media player designs require:

  • Power management techniques for reduced heat and ultra-low standby power.
  • Smaller and more robust solution size for reliable long-term usage.
  • Additional functionality for new "smart" home ecosystem.
