ATM-3P-AIDAR
Overview
Atomathic 8x8 AIDAR radar is an AI-powered radar development platform designed to deliver high-resolution 4D sensing and object shape recognition. The platform combines an 8x8 antenna array with advanced AI-based signal processing to extract detailed range, velocity, angle and elevation information from radar data.
The radar leverages atomic norm–based processing techniques to achieve hyper-resolution detection and improved separation of closely spaced targets, enabling enhanced perception in complex environments. Its architecture supports flexible processing strategies, including edge, satellite and centralized processing, allowing developers to evaluate different system configurations.
The Atomathic 8x8 AIDAR radar incorporates an RF front-end built using TI mmWave radar technology and waveguide-based antenna arrays, providing a foundation for advanced radar perception development. When used with Atomathic’s Aidar AI signal processing software, the platform enables evaluation of AI-driven radar perception approaches for automotive and advanced sensing applications, including L2 and L3 systems.
