BEACN-3P-TORPEDO
Overview
The DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo System-on-Module (SoM) is a compact, production-ready platform built around the Texas Instruments DaVinci™ DM3730 and Sitara™ AM3703 processors. Measuring just 15 mm x 27 mm, the Torpedo integrates processor, memory, power management, and essential system functions into an ultra-small footprint, helping engineers reduce design complexity and accelerate development.
The DM3730 variant combines a 1 GHz ARM® Cortex™-A8 processor with a TMS320C64x+™ DSP and PowerVR SGX™ graphics accelerator for multimedia, vision, and display-intensive applications. Production-ready Linux®, Android™, and Windows Embedded CE BSPs help speed time to market, while support for display, audio, USB, serial, and expansion interfaces enables integration into a wide range of embedded systems.
The Torpedo is ideal for medical, industrial, portable, and space-constrained applications requiring high performance, low power consumption, and long-term reliability.
