Overview

The LMG1208 evaluation module (EVM) is a compact, easy-to-use power stage with an external PWM signal. The board can be configured as an open-loop buck or boost converter. This EVM can be used to evaluate the performance of the LMG1208 gate driver. This EVM features LMG1208 gate driver driving two Si-MOSFET. This board is not designed for transient response evaluation.

Features
  • Open loop operation with single or dual PWM signals
  • Uses DCR sensing for accurate inductor current measurement
  • Onboard differential amplifier circuit to provide gain for sensed inductor current signal
  • Onboard LDO for generating 5V VCC from external 12V power supply
Half-bridge drivers
LMG1208 — 3-A, 4-A, 100-V half bridge gate driver, with floating ground and protections for GaNFET and MOSFET
