Description

The SIMPLE SWITCHER power module demonstration board is optimized for peak performance and small footprint. The output voltage and fast transient response can be adjusted by replacing the small passive components. The good thermal performance of the power modules is showcased using a 2-layer 1oz copper PCB.

  • Integrated shielded inductor (inside module)
  • VIN = 6V to 42V
  • Precision enable UVLO - 8V
  • 3.3V output (output voltage is adjustable by changing 1 or 2 resistors)
  • Operates at full load up to 80°C ambient at 12V input
  • Efficiency
    • Up to 92% (LMZ14203/LMZ12003)
  • Thermal performance
    • θJA = 20°C/W
    • θJC = 1.9°C/W
  • Uses 0603 passives on back side showcasing production ready layout
  • 2.3 in. x 1.7 in. (5.8 cm x 4.3 cm) 2-layer PCB. Uses 1oz copper on top and bottom
