Overview

The MCT8316Z is a three half-H-bridge integrated MOSFET drivers for sensored trapezoidal control of a three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor for 12-V/24-V DC,  8-A Peak current drive. It integrates three analog hall comparators for rotor position sensing to achieve sensored trapezoidal BLDC motor control. The MCT8316Z supports a buck regulator that can support 200-mA with programmable regulated supply.

This EVM includes an on-board MSP430, MSP430FR2355, which is used to interface with the MCT8316ZTEVM GUI.
