Overview
The TAC5142 evaluation module (EVM) allows the user to test the capabilities of the TAC5142, a hardware-control two-channel high-performance stereo codec, which is intended for applications in land mobile radio, IP telephone or professional audio applications. The evaluation module is paired with the AC-MB, a flexible motherboard which provides power, control and digital audio data to the evaluation module.

- High-performance stereo codec: 102dB dynamic range ADC and 106dB dynamic range DAC
- Onboard microphones provided for voice recording testing
- Direct access to digital audio signals and control interface for simple end-system integration
- USB connection to PC provides power, control and streaming audio data for easy evaluation
- AC-MB, audio converters motherboard
