Overview
The TAS2780EVM evaluation module (EVM) is used to evaluate the TAS2780, a digital input mono Class-D audio amplifier with speaker IV sense. The EVM is designed to be used as stand-alone evalution tool and provides the designer with the tools to integrate the TAS2780 amplifier into their system and also provides mono speaker output. The designer can control and configure the device using the PurePath™ Console 3 software, as well as characterize speakers and tune the algorithms appropriately. These features create a tailored host system on chip (SoC) performance that fits the designer's end equipment demands.
