This EVM can be used to evaluate the TLIN114x family of devices. The CAN bus is easily accessed via test points, the J7 header, and a DSUB9 connector, standard in a lot of automotive applications for cabling. All pins are available through headers or test points. There is an integrated USB2ANY circuit, allowing the use of a TI GUI. The SPI pins are also able to be disconnected from the USB2ANY circuit and are brought out to header pins for easy access with the user's own processor. Footprints for CAN bus protection, as well as different termination options are availabe as well.
