Overview

The TDP158 EVM is a PCB created to help customers evaluate the TDP158 device for video applications.  This EVM can also be used as a hardware reference design for implementation of the TDP158 in the RSB package.  PCB design/layout files can be provided upon request to provide PCB design illustrations of the routing/placement rules.

  • DisplayPort connection for the source and HDMI connection for the sink
  • The EVM can be powered by a 5-V wall power adapter external power or though Micro USB cable
  • I2C communications for debug and control purposes

TPS61240 2.3-V to 5.5-V input range, 3.5-MHz fixed frequency 450-mA boost converter

 

Buck converters (integrated switch)
TPS62150 3–17V 1A Step-Down Converter with DCS-Control in 3x3 QFN package

 

Linear & low-dropout (LDO) regulators
TPS74201 1.5-A, low-VIN (0.8-V), low-noise, high-PSRR, adjustable ultra-low-dropout voltage regulator

 

Supervisor & reset ICs
TPS3808 Low-quiescent current supervisor with programmable delay & manual reset
