Overview

The TPS544B28RBHEVM is designed to provide a quick setup to evaluate the TPS544B28 in an RBH package and gain familiarity with the device. The TPS544B28RBHEVM is designed for a nominal 12V bus and to produce a regulated 1V output at up to 20A of load current. The TPS544B28RBHEVM is designed to demonstrate PMBus® functionality and different pin strap settings of the TPS544B28 with the help of different connectors and jumpers, while providing a number of test points and connectors to evaluate the performance of the device.

  • Input voltage range: 4V to 16V, 12V nominal
  • Output voltage range: 0.4V to 5.5V, 1V nominal
  • Output current: 0A to 20A
  • Programmable switching frequency, soft start, overcurrent limit, compensation, fault recovery, output voltage, PFM/FCCM
  • Supports internal and external feedback configurations
  • Convenient test points for probing critical waveforms
  • Easy evaluation design includes PMBus connector and jumper selection at MS1, MS2 and ADR pins to evaluate different settings on TPS544B28
