Overview

The TPS54J060EVM-067 is an evaluation module (EVM) for the TPS54J060. The TPS54J060 is a synchronous buck converter, integrating both power MOSFETs to minimize solution size and provide high efficiency at full load. The TPS54J060 uses DCAP3 control to achieve fast transient response to a load step. A jumper can be used to select between three switching frequency options and select between auto-skipping Eco-mode for improved light load efficiency or forced continuous conduction mode.

  • 4-V to 16-V input voltage, 12-V nominal
  • 1.8-V output at 6 A
  • Jumper to select switching frequency of 600 kHz, 1100 kHz or 2 MHz
  • Jumper to select auto-skipping eco-mode for light load efficiency or forced continuous conduction mode
  • Test point to provide external bias to VCC pin to power from 3.3-V input voltage (see user's guide for instructions)
