Overview

The TPS56837 is an 8 A synchronous buck converter operating from 4.5 V to 28 V input voltage (VIN), and its output voltage ranges from 0.6 V to 13 V. The proprietary D-CAP3™ mode enables low external component count, ease of design, optimization of the power design for power, size and efficiency. The device employs D-CAP3™ mode control that provides fast transient response with no external compensation components and an accurate feedback voltage. The control topology provides seamless transition between CCM operating mode at higher load condition and DCM operation at lighter load condition. Eco-mode™ allows the TPS56837 to maintain high efficiency at light load.
