Our Zephyr stack delivers a fully certified open-source and portable Bluetooth solution while maintaining low power, enabled by TI’s Bluetooth LE Controller. Through a TI-managed downstream branch, we ensure faster delivery, bug fixes, and controlled updates for CC2340 and CC2755 devices.

A legacy of innovation in connectivity

2001

Texas Instruments joins the BT SIG as an early adopter of the now formalize Bluetooth standard.

  

2002

A critical month for TI Wi-Fi where we joined the Wi-Fi Board of Directors and fully certified our first 802.11b Wi-Fi device the “ACX100".

  

2010

Texas instruments launched the world’s first Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0) device the CC2540.

  

2016

TI makes our first upstream contribution to the Zephyr community.
