Release Information

MMWAVE-uDFP SW for IWRL6432WMOD provides a wide range of features and configuration capabilities from Host Controller over SPI interface. Some configurations supported:

  • Detection Sensitivity
  • Motion Sensitivity
  • Max range selection
  • Region and Boundary Configuration
  • Polar and Cartesian Co-ordinate Systems etc.

This package also contains mmWaveULink and ICD document that aids in integrating the modules to Host Application Software.

What's new

  • Visualizer performance improvements
  • The Detection Sensitivity configuration has been expanded from 3 bits to 4 bits, increasing the number of supported sensitivity levels from 6 to 13
  • Performance improvements for configurations
  • Enhanced MPD logic to ensure smooth handling of zone state transitions
  • Added UART Flash Device API to flash firmware images to the device's serial flash memory over UART
  • Added error handling to log failures and halt the sensor when boot calibration is unsuccessful in the demo
  • Fixed an incorrect FTDI API usage in ftdi_wrapper.c where FT_GetBitMode was being used instead of the proper MPSSE
  • Fixed an issue where the point cloud data would occasionally remain static across consecutive frames, causing the visualization to appear frozen
  • Fixed memory corruption in ml_uDFPStatusGetApi and ml_uDFPVersionGetApi where response buffer was cast to a larger struct type, causing stack overflow beyond the output struct
