This video will increase the awareness and understanding of current sense amplifiers and their advantages over discrete implementations and traditional current sensing methods. Some of the advantages that will be discussed include increased common mode range, integration, measurement accuracy, and ease of use. Both discrete solutions and integrated current sense solutions will be examined to clarify which solution would be a better fit for a given application.
