Ultrasound technologies have found its use in several industrial applications. However, it is important to understand the differences between these applications and picking the right device from TI’s wide portfolio of devices. This session deep dives into several end equipment such as proximity detection, level sensing, flow measurement and others. We will discuss the differences in functionality and specifications that will allow users to select either the PGA4xx, TDC1xxx or the MSP430FR604x family of devices for their applications. The session also details the ultrasonic water flow meters for both residential and industrial applications. The session also details the SW tools including the GUI available for customer to start development using the MSP430FR604x MCUs for ultrasonic water flow meter applications. Also delves into the various TI Designs available to address these end equipment applications.
