High resolution DLP® headlights have a 25% wider field of view than competing technologies. This allows the driver to see more of the road and objects in and around the road. It also allows the car's ADAS sensors to see more of the environment around them and feed that information back to the car. By projecting high-speed structured light patterns onto objects in or near the road, ADAS sensors can identify objects and use that information to help drivers make decisions while driving.
