Linear vs NTC thermistors: Which Should You Choose?

00:02:43 | 14 FEB 2020
NTC thermistors have been prominent and widely used due to their cost. However, challenges appear when used for temperature sensing that affect the measurement precision and reliability of the device. Our silicon-based linear thermistors help solve these challenges at the same low cost and footprint sizes of NTCs. In this video, we discuss resistance tolerance, calibration, reliability, power consumption, and self-heating to compare NTC thermistors with our silicon based linear thermistors.
