Image sensors are sensitive to noise especially on the imager’s analog power rail. The noise that impacts image quality can be EMI, substrate noise coupling, thermal noise and power supply ripple noise. Besides the power supply ripple noise, these effects can be significantly reduced by proper circuit and PCB designs. A high PSRR power solution should be considered to mitigate power supply ripple noise in order to maintain image quality.
