Are you stronger than a DRV8316?

00:01:11 | 12 OCT 2021

How much power can you drive with an integrated motor driver in a 5mm x 7mm package? The DRV8316 showcases its power and holding torque capability of up to 8-A peak current in this simple demo – when turning a motor by hand from an aligned home position, the motor align current increases linearly to resist the turning torque, similar to a robotic arm. This allows massive miniaturization of the motor power stage and associated functions and reduces the solution size of servos and actuators.
