How to spin 4 motors using DRV8311 with just 5 wires

00:01:22 | 12 OCT 2021
This demo showcases one MCU performing real-time control on four independent BLDC motors. The C2000™ MCU communicates with four separate DRV8311 to drive the four motors. The tSPI interface allows control of all four motors over the SPI interface instead of using a typical 6x PWM setup for each motor. The result is independent control of each motor with many less wires. The solution can increase power density by allowing for less MCUs, or MCUs in a smaller package to decrease the overall size.
