Improve image quality by minimizing power supply noise

00:01:49 | 14 OCT 2021

Power supply noise of various frequencies can affect the output image quality of CMOS image sensors. Depending on the noise frequency, horizontal lines of various intensities can be seen in the image. Minimize this row noise with a low noise, high-PSRR power supply, like the TPS650330-Q1 camera PMIC. An example image sensor powered by the TPS650330-Q1 displays no row noise. In contrast, the same sensor with a noisy power supply results in output image row noise. Watch this demo to learn more.
