This demo showcases a battery energy storage system with highly accurate monitoring of multimodule battery cells that can provide accurate battery cell voltage, temperature and rack current, increasing the accuracy of state-of-charge and state-of-health estimations and system reliability. This demonstration highlights the BQ79616-Q1 battery monitor, BQ79731-Q1 voltage and current sensor, TPSI2140-Q1 isolated solid-state, TPSI3052-Q1 isolated gate driver, and the TMS320F280039C C2000™ MCU.
