The Link-Pointer is a value stored in the zone header of each zone and determines the active zone select block. To recap from the previous video in this video series, the Zone-Select block is used to update security settings that would normally be one time configurable due to security settings being programmed in one time programmable memory. By updating the Link-Pointer, the user can re-configure any security settings that are part of the Zone-Select block.
