Medical alarm systems are required subsystem for most medical devices, especially those used in an intensive care unit (ICU). This design provides an IEC60601-1-8 based medical alarm utilizing the MSPM0G1507or MSPM0G3507 microcontroller to offer primary alarm, backup alarm, and visual alarm functionality.
