Advanced driver assistance systems using LiDAR technology are making vehicles safer today and will enable fully autonomous vehicles in the future. Texas Instruments and SiLC Technologies are working together to create advanced Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave LiDAR technology for today and the future. SiLC’s 1550nm FMCW technology is capable of achieving long detection distances beyond 1km as demonstrated with its Eyeonic Vision Sensor that uses TI’s LMH32404-Q1 transimpedance amplifier.
