Dedicated to developing and advancing industry standards
Our commitment to excellence
Texas Instruments (TI) is actively involved in numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of semiconductors. This includes the development and improvement of industry standards, as well as participation in various industry symposia.
Additionally, TI and its global facilities have earned several industry certifications, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products to its customers.
Certifications
TI has maintained the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 4001) certifications since 1996, showcasing its dedication to upholding the highest quality standards.
Most of our sites are certified under ISO/IATF 16949, which aligns with the international quality system standard specifically designed for the global automotive industry.
All TI manufacturing sites have received ISO 45001 certification, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards.
Green Certification
TI holds a green certification with Sony and Canon. Sony mandates that its suppliers renew their Sony Green Partner certification every two years, with each manufacturing site required to obtain this certification.
Industry standards
TI ensures that its devices comply with global industry standards for automotive and industrial designs. Our isolated devices are tested and certified for electrical insulation strength by multiple independent certification laboratories. We are committed to advancing industry standards that enhance semiconductor quality and actively participate in developing regulatory standards as well as U.S. and international voluntary standards through ongoing membership in various standards development committees and industry associations.
Part-level ratings vs Product-level ratings
TI provides ratings for its components, referred to as orderable part numbers. On TI.com, we organize several parts within a single product page. If a product page contains parts with varying ratings, TI will display all relevant ratings and clearly indicate the specific part-level rating where applicable.
Protective encasing
TI semiconductor products utilize plastic encapsulating materials that meet the UL 94 flame classification of V-0, unless otherwise specified in the product datasheet.
