New residential ductless air conditioner indoor systems are getting smarter and more energy efficient with advanced low power solutions, sensing and wireless connectivity technologies.
Instead of conventional AC inducted motor fans, the latest air conditioner indoor systems are using BLDC motors for fans to achieve lower audible noise and better energy efficiency. More efficient AC/DC bias power supply and on-board DC/DC technologies are also being adopted to achieve low standby power consumption. Our fully tested reference designs help address these design challenges and provide solutions for higher indoor system efficiency, easy thermal management, compact PCB form factor and lower acoustics, and meeting EMI/EMC requirements with added safety features for both high voltage and low voltage BLDC driving technologies.
