The gain calibration value is a 24-bit value consisting of three 8-bit registers coded in straight binary format and normalized to unity gain at 400000h. Register 0Ch is the most-significant byte, register 0Dh is the middle byte, and register 0Eh is the least-significant byte. For example, to correct a gain error greater than 1, the calculated gain calibration value is less than 400000h. Table 8-11 shows example gain calibration values.
