Clock Sources

The are four clock sources in F280013x and F280015x devices and all the clocks in the device are derived from one of four clock sources: Primary Internal Oscillator (INTOSC2), Backup Internal Oscillator (INTOSC1), Auxiliary Clock Input (AUXCLKIN), and External Oscillator (XTAL). However, in F28E12x, the clock sources are: Wide Range Oscillator (WROSC), System Oscillator (SYSOSC), Auxiliary Clock Input (AUXCLKIN), and External Oscillator (XTAL). By default, SYSOSC is set as the source for the system reference clock (OSCCLK) and WROSC is set as the backup clock source.
