2.1.5 APPSFPGA Flash Configuration PROM

The PROM is used to store and configure the APPSFPGA. The PROM is a Xilinx XCF16P Flash PROM preloaded with a test pattern generation capability. The user can change the APPSFPGA PROM programming as needed using a JTAG interface and a Xilinx programming tool. TI recommends downloading and saving a copy of the preloaded test pattern generation program before reprogramming this PROM.
