Connecting External Power to the INA220EVM

The INA220 power supply (VS) operates in the range of 3 V to 5.5 V (see the INA220 product data sheet). The default jumper position provides 5 V to the INA220 from the USB-DIG-Platform. The power from the USB-DIG-Platform can be changed to 3 V using JUMP9.

Another option is to connect power to the INA220 power supply (VS) using an external power supply. In this case, connect power to the T3 terminal block and set JMP1 to the Vs_EXT position. The INA220 power supply (VS) operates in the range of 3 V to 5.5 V; do not operate outside of this range.
