Design Requirements

The SN74LVC240A device uses CMOS technology and has balanced output drive. Take care to avoid bus contention because it can drive currents that can exceed maximum limits.

The SN74LVC240A allows switching control of analog and digital signals with a digital control signal. All input signals must remain as close as possible to either 0V or VCC for peak operation.
