Future Work

This guide, built around the minimal platform support framework in U-Boot and Linux, was created to introduce a structured process that aids in custom board-porting efforts. Looking forward, several critical advanced sections can be appended to this documentation, including but not limited to:

  1. Cross-Platform Porting Guides: Expanding this methodology to cover board bring-up on alternative TI K3 processors, such as the AM62A, AM64x, and AM62P SoCs.
  2. Advanced Troubleshooting Diagnostics: Adding a wider variety of specialized debugging utilities, trace scripts, and hardware inspection procedures to the "Tools and Debugging" section.
  3. Practical OpenOCD Integration: Expanding the "OpenOCD" chapter to include a step-by-step example of using a JTAG hardware debugger resolve low-level hardware integration issues.
