Step 11: Defining Safe Operating Limits

Please define the safe operating limit (Excursion and Thermal Limits) for thermal modeling. The Excursion Limit is usually defined as the Xmax in the speaker datasheet, and Thermal Limit as Tmax. The Thermal Limit is defined as the change or the difference in temperatures (∆°C) between the maximum temperature (Tmax) of the speaker and the ambient temperature.
