6.3.1 BQ27Z561-R2 Processor

The BQ27Z561-R2 device uses a custom TI-proprietary processor design that features a Harvard architecture and operates at frequencies up to 4.2MHz. Using an adaptive, three-stage instruction pipeline, the BQ27Z561-R2 processor supports variable instruction lengths of 8, 16, or 24 bits.
