Mode Selection

TPS513885 has a MODE pin that can be used to select 560kHz or 920kHz switching frequency. The device reads the voltage on the MODE pin during start-up and latches onto one of the MODE options listed below in Table 6-1.

Figure 6-1 shows the typical start-up sequence of the device after the enable signal crosses the EN turn-on threshold. After the voltage on VCC crosses the rising UVLO threshold, finishing the frequency selection takes about 104μs. The output voltage starts ramping after the mode selection.
