Example Component Values For Common Output Voltages

Table 1-3 shows recommended modifications to the EVM for evaluating different output voltages. Depending on the load step response requirements in the application, the output capacitors may need to be different from the values shown in this table. More or less output capacitance can be used. If the output capacitors are changed, the compensation may need to be adjusted. Additionally, if a different fSW is needed, the inductance value (L) may need to be changed. The TPS54824 datasheet equations or WEBENCH can be used to calculate the output capacitor value, compensation, fSW, and inductance.
