7.3.5 FAILSAFE State

When in FAILSAFE state, ENx, CLK32K, NRST, NIRQ are all held Low, and a best effort attempt is made to keep I2C active. ACT and SLEEP inputs are ignored.

To exit from FAILSAFE state, VDD has to be removed. Depending on VBBAT, TPS38700-Q1 enters BACKUP or OFF state.
