Powering Up and Down With VIN

Figure 2-24 shows the start-up waveforms for the TPS54J060EVM-067 with VIN ramping up to 12 V. The TPS54J061EVM-067 has similar behavior and the only difference is the soft-start time is shorter at 1.5 ms typical as a result of the lower 0.6-V reference. The start-up sequence begins as soon as the EN voltage is increased above the enable threshold voltage and the output voltage ramps up to the set value.

Figure 2-25 shows the TPS54J060EVM-067 shutdown with VIN ramping down from 12 V.
