Boot: Possible boot failure with SD cards
SD card boot may fail on some SD cards. ROM is incorrectly setting the SD card interface frequency too high during initialization, and this can this can cause the data on the card to be read incorrectly, leading to a boot failure. Behavior can change if choosing a card from a different manufacturer, or for different board designs. SD card backup boot may be successful, or subsequent boots after reset may be successful.
Choose another SD card manufacturer or a different card type from the same manufacturer for more consistent results. Choosing SD card backup boot may also work on affected cards.
