2.3 How to Port Your Project in CCS 12.x to CCS 20.x for Debugging

To port a project, always check if the project's dependencies are available in both versions of CCS. Therefore, the first step is to open the project.

In CCS 20.0, go to Manage and Code Composer Studio Settings to check if the same dependencies are present.

If they are missing, visit the official website to download and install them. After a successful installation, click the refresh icon to the right of Discovered Products.

If the dependencies are already in place, manually copy the project into the CCS 20.x workspace.

Select Copy each imported project into: xxx_workspace.
