About the Authors

MAITRIYA DAMANI Maitriya is a field applications engineer at Texas Instruments, responsible for interfacing with customers in the Building Automation sector. His responsibilities include suggesting devices based on high-level system knowledge, documentation, application notes, and reference designs to support customer growth. Maitriya received his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2023.

EYAL COHEN Eyal is a systems engineer at Texas Instruments, where he is responsible for designing and developing reference designs in the industrial segment. Eyal has a wide experience of software development for real-time Embedded Systems, Low-Power RF Connectivity, and Building Security products for the industrial semiconductor market. Eyal earned his bachelor of science in electrical and computer engineering (BSEE) degree from Tel-Aviv University.

JUSTIN YIN Justin is a systems engineer on the Building Automation System Engineering and Marketing (SEM) team at Texas Instruments, where he is responsible for developing sensing reference designs for building security systems and fire safety systems. He obtained his Masters of Control Engineering degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and his Bachelor of Science in Automation from Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology.

NIKKIL V Nikkil is a software engineer at Texas Instruments, focusing on developing low-level drivers and application code for microcontrollers, with a focus on serial communication protocols. Nikkil received his B Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2023 from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.
