The
ADC810-Q1 is an I/O expander device that includes
a 12-bit, I2C-compatible,
analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and provides
8-bits of general-purpose parallel input/output
offered in a SOT-16 package. The ADC810-Q1
incorporates an internal voltage reference and an
oscillator. The ADC810-Q1 also incorporates a
programmable internal voltage reference and a
digital comparator. These features, along with a
wide operating supply range, are useful for power-
and space-constrained, sensor measurement
applications.
The
device performs conversions at data rates up to
3300 samples per second (SPS). The VREF offers
values of 1.4V, 2.5V, and VDD. The ADC810-Q1
features an input multiplexer (MUX) that allows
eight single-ended input measurements. The digital
comparator in the AC810 can be used for under- and
overvoltage detection.
The
ADC810-Q1 operates in either continuous-conversion
mode or single-shot mode. Data are transferred
through an I2C-compatible serial
interface.
