LMR70410 is a 40V, 1A synchronous buck switching regulator in an easy to use SOT23-6 package. LMR70410 can deliver up to 1A DC load current in a small design size and can operate between 4V to 40V DC supply voltage. LMR70410 operates at a fixed 1.1MHz switching frequency to support the use of relatively small inductors to optimize overall design size.

LMR70410 features precision enable UVLO which allows the designer to program the input voltage at which the device is turned on or off through the use of a resistor divider between VIN and GND. LMR70410 implements cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection which limits the maximum output current even as the output voltage falls to zero. Thermal shutdown is implemented to turn off the LMR70410 if the junction temperature exceeds the thermal shutdown threshold.

LMR70410 features both FPWM and PFM variants allowing designs to be optimized for either fixed frequency across load or higher light load efficiency. The internal soft-start time is set internally to be 1.8ms (typical).

LMR70410 is part of a family of pin-to-pin devices that support load currents ranging from 0.6A to 1A. This family is pin-to-pin compatible with other SOT23-6 devices, such as TPS560430 and LMR50410.
