Automatic transmission
Overview
Our integrated circuits and reference designs will help you create automatic transmission designs that improve vehicle handling, fuel efficiency and torque control through precise control of gear shifts and axles.
Design requirements
Automatic transmission designs require:
- Robust and safe solenoid and BLDC gate drivers that enable reliable and high performance operation.
- High-accuracy position sensing for motor and solenoid position sensors.
- Following state-of-the-art architecture regarding system redundancy in order to allow implementation of the system at the highest safety level.
